Peer Gallery Co-operative Limited became a registered co-operative under the the Co-operatives Associations Act of Nova Scotia in 2002

Our Objectives: promotion of contemporary art, provision of a gallery to exhibit contemporary art and the provision of a supportive environment for the artists of the co-operative.

Peer Gallery welcomes applications from practicing visual artists who create interesting subject matter and demonstrate technical proficiency in production and presentation of their work and who possess the interest and ability to actively participate in the spirit and operation of a co-operative gallery.

The costs and workload of running the gallery are shared equitably by the artists of the co-operative. Currently there are 16 artists in the co-operative.
