Allyson- After 28 years of working in partnership with lapidary artist Dan MacLellan he is retiring- and so will be all of my production lines that incorporate Canadian stone. Each stone was carefully chosen to represent different aspects of the landscape. This exhibition will feature one of everything we created together since starting my business in 1998.

Teresa- Ceramics are part of most people’s daily life and the humble simplicity of the medium appeals to me . I love the process of using my hands to bring clay to “life”. This work, Cultivated Simplicity, is filled with the love and fears that come with raising children, muddling through marriage and pursuing one’s dreams.
Douglas- For me painting is the result of problem solving: the product of as much rational deliberation as possible without deadening the effect. The finished work should have that “wondrous strange” something, inexplicable to analysis but in itself inducing rapt attention.
