FALL 2022

This autumn the gallery is showing work by all 16 of our gallery members.

We also have two exciting Feature Exhibitions taking place in October. Feature exhibitions offer individual members an opportunity to present a larger body of work. This is a wonderful opportunity to see more work by some of our wonderful crew.

As the weather gets cooler and the fall colours glow on the hillsides, what better way to spend an afternoon than taking a trip to Lunenburg and immersing yourself in the delicious art on display in our gallery?

You can take a stroll along Lincoln Street to visit the many other galleries on gallery row. Follow up with a visit to a cafe, brew pub or restaurant perhaps. We look forward to seeing you!

The evocative paintings and ceramic works in this exhibition grow from the spirit of renewal.

Barbara’s images spring from a new found joy in painting, a feeling of hope even during these troubling times and a continuance of personal creativity and recovery of natural balance.

Bradley’s large vessels are press molded and hand carved with glazes and clay slips applied by hand, then wood and gas fired to a timeless look of “Antiquity”. It is a renewal of work and of the artistic energy that flows from presentation.

Heather’s work is very much a living process, like the unfolding of a flower. Gardens, fields laden with blooms, the millions of flower paintings, and the photos Heather has taken are the basis of her work. Flowers accompany us through life. They speak a silent language of beauty - a language made of earth, air, fire and water.

We hope you get a chance to drop by. For those of you unable to visit the Gallery in person, check out our Virtual Gallery during the exhibitions, the RENEWAL Exhibition catalogue and Heather’s online Exhibition Catalogue.
